Where the two differ
During the 30 days the trial is the paid version, with nothing held back: Scroll Curve customization, Button Mapping, HID++ device control, push-to-talk dictation, per-app overrides, and no account. The table below is only the places the two are not the same.

How checkout works
Payment is handled by a third-party Merchant of Record, which calculates and remits sales tax or VAT for your country. MouseTuner never sees or stores your card details.
If the license server is down
An activated machine checks once a day whether its key has been revoked. If that check cannot complete, because the server is down or you are offline, the app keeps every feature working for another 14 days before it steps down. A bad week for our server is not a bad week for your mouse.

Questions
Is this a subscription?
No. One payment and that is the end of it. Nothing renews, and the license has no expiry date.
Can I try it before paying?
Yes. Downloading the app starts a 30-day full-feature trial. No account, no card, nothing to cancel afterwards.
What happens when the trial ends?
Enhanced features (Scroll Curve customization, Button Mapping, HID++ device control) turn off. The app keeps running with default OS behavior; nothing stops working, it just stops doing more than the OS already does.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 14 days, no questions asked. The refund page has the details and the address to write to.
What counts as a machine?
A seat is tied to a machine fingerprint. There is no user account. Deactivating a machine in the app frees its seat immediately.
